Millennials: $2,000 poorer than their parents were at the same age

A recent study released by the United States Census Bureau shows that millennials today are earning $2,000 less than their parents did at the same age. While this study could be partially related to the timing and the recent recession, the study also shows the dangers of treating the U.S. as a monolithic economy. The study shows that the road to recovery has been uneven, and while some areas are decreasing, others are continuing to rise.
