Why the gender-pay gap is largest for the highest-paying jobs

Gender-pay gap is becoming more recognizable to the general public, with the issue being front of mind for many people.  It is clear though that the issue is far more diverse than originally thought, as the gender-pay gap comes down to more than just a single number.  Recently it was released that while the pay gap is shrinking in lower income jobs, it continues to be the largest for high paying jobs such as CEO’s, lawyers, and surgeons.
