According to a recent study done by Catalyst, female MBA graduates in Canada begin their careers earning $8,167 less than their male counterparts. The study, which looked at 1,574 students who graduated between 1996 and 2007, found that this gap is larger in Canada than it is internationally and that it continues to impede women’s career progression later on. Janet McFarland at The Globe and Mail takes a closer look at the findings.
