Young and educated in Europe, but desperate for jobs

Millions of young Europeans are struggling with underemployment or unemployment in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis. In many countries, unemployment for those under 24 is sitting at “Depression-like” rates: 56 percent in Spain , 57 percent in Greece, 40 percent in Italy, 37 percent in Portugal and 28 percent in Ireland. The question now, with many European economies barely out of recession, whether this generation will miss out on the recovery when it does take hold.
