Poverty level doesn’t budge: 50 million and counting

Jennifer Liberto at CNNMoney reports on new data on the poverty level in the United States. According to a new report from the Census Bureau, the number of people living in poverty in the U.S. in 2012 was nearly 50 million, 16 per cent of the population. The poverty level in the country has actually stayed the same for the past two years.
