Unemployment by country

With no new U.S. jobs numbers out this Friday because of the government shutdown, the folks at CNNMoney have used OECD data to chart how the Unites States stacks up against other OECD countries when it comes to unemployment rates. Falling in the middle of the pack, the U.S. has higher unemployment than countries like Norway, Austria, Mexico, Germany and Canada, but lower unemployment than the United Kingdom and France.
