‘Made in America’ revival gathers pace

A new Boston Consulting Group study has found that more U.S. companies, including most large American companies, are considering “re-shoring” their manufacturing activities to the United States from China. In fact, the number of companies that have moved manufacturing from China to the U.S. or who plan to do so in the next couple of years has actually almost doubled in the past 18 months. These companies are being driven largely by labor costs, a desire to be closer to their customers, and product quality. Virginia Harrison at CNNMoney takes a closer look at this trend.
