‘She can do it:’ Women could fix the manufacturing skills shortage, report says

The Manufacturing Institute and Deloitte recently compiled a report which stated that women wanted to stay in the manufacturing industry because they were given the chance to do challenging work and received excellent compensation. However, women in the industry are found in small quantities, especially in leadership roles. These gears should be changed to allow for a more female-oriented industry to shed valuable insight on the consumer market to increase competitiveness.
