Is going to college still worth it if you drop out?

Jordan Weissmann from The Atlantic gives insight on the fact that even if a student goes to school for a few years and does not graduate, they are still able to gain valuable life experience. The Hamilton Project at Brookings offered the expertise that once you factor in the cost of school and foregone wages, attending and dropping out of school is still a profitable choice. However, the higher the level of education, the higher the return on investment. College students who drop out have the potential of making the same wage as students who have graduated from highschool, which makes it seem pointless to waste your time on money on an education that you will not finish.
