In February, Australia added 71,500 full-time jobs and 53,700 part-time jobs, which is the highest jump in the last 13 years. There has been a rise in the total workforce; however, the unemployment rate has remained steady at 5.4 percent, which is less than that of Canada and the United States. The housing market has shown signs of improvement as interest rates have remained at 3 percent.
